Who is invited?:

Back to Self: Nurturing Body, Mind, and Spirit After Cancer is for those who have walked through cancer and are now finding their way back to themselves.

This retreat is designed for survivors, thrivers, and anyone in the post-treatment or long-term healing phase who feels ready for gentle restoration. Whether you are newly out of treatment, years into survivorship, or living with ongoing effects, you are welcome here.

It is for those who may feel disconnected from their bodies, overwhelmed by the emotional aftermath, or simply longing for a peaceful space to rest, reflect, and be deeply cared for. No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or retreat settings is needed — only a willingness to show up exactly as you are.

Together, in a compassionate and supportive environment, we will focus on rebuilding trust with the body, calming the nervous system, honoring what has been endured, and rediscovering joy, strength, and wholeness.

This is a space for softness. For reconnection. For coming home to yourself.

About Your Host:

Emily Blau is a retreat leader, and owner of Nurture Through Nature, an off-grid wellness retreat center devoted to deep rest, reconnection, and healing in the natural world. Her work is rooted in the belief that true healing happens when body, mind, and spirit are nurtured together — gently, compassionately, and without pressure.

A breast cancer survivor herself, Emily brings not only professional training but lived experience to this retreat. She understands the complex landscape of survivorship — the physical changes, emotional layers, identity shifts, and the quiet question of how to move forward after everything has changed. Her approach is trauma-aware, heart-centered, and grounded in creating spaces where people feel safe to be exactly as they are.

Emily weaves together restorative practices, nature immersion, community support, and moments of meaningful reflection to help participants reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and rediscover a sense of wholeness.

Through her work, she hopes to offer others what she most needed during her own healing journey: a place to exhale, to be held, and to find their way back to themselves.
